Volunteered Reflection
This month I volunteers in 2 different
opportunities, The first Volunteer opportunity I realized was the Special
Olympics Breakfast of Champions, This was a fascinating opportunity where we
got to help the fundraiser of the Summer special Olympics, our duties as volunteers
where help out organizing the tables in the event, and the food that they where
offering to the people attending the event, my anticipation to the event was very open minded I am always willing
to help and volunteering makes me feel happy, The organization elements for
this breakfast event where helping set up every detail for the event and helping
entertain the kids and athletes that
attended the event, also helping sing people in was one of our duties as
volunteers, which made it more fun to engage with the kids and be a part of it,
The organizing of the breakfast could have been a little more neat and
organized, The were a little late on the meet up time and also the preparation
of setting up the whole table was a little unorganized.
The second event I volunteered
was helping set up the bocce ball fields for the summer special Olympics, this
event was well organized, we were in charge of setting up the fields, this task
was very time consuming a tiring but we did as good as we possibly could and enjoyed
every minute of it. There were not kids or athletes on this event so It made
not as fun but I still liked it.
